چکیده
Introduction. In case of cancer the oral mucosa at first stage, standard treatment approach is radical surgical intervention, with formation extensive defects leading to aesthetic and functional disorders. Taking into account characteristics defects, choosing a flap difficult task. Currently, there wide selection regional microvascular free flaps. However, not all flaps meet requirements. The supraclavicular fasciocutaneous flap, being has number advantages: easy harvest, reliable due constancy vascular pedicle, primary closure donor site, scarcity hair, possibility closing various cavity. Aim. To evaluate using in patients restore after treatment. Materials methods. study included 10 malignant tumors cavity who underwent intervention defect replacement N. Blokhin National Medical Research Center Oncology between February 2015 May 2021. 4 cases, buccal was affected; 3 retromolar area; 1 case, floor mucosa; mandibular alveolar ridge; mobile tongue. Flap sizes were 5–10 × 5–8 cm. Three (3) had history radiotherapy, them dose. Results. without previous partial necrosis observed. patient, sutural diastasis diagnosed. There no cases total fistula formation. Suture dehiscence bed observed patient only. Conclusion. Use an option for producing satisfactory esthetic results. advantages this are simple dissection, reliability flexibility, replacing large scant hair coverage.

[Buccal flap in reconstruction of mucosal defects in oral cavity].
INTRODUCTION The buccal flaps are an effective alternative in treatment patients with small defects of the oral cavity due to: the small size of the flap, the lack of donor site, less risk of postoperative complications and short procedure time. MATERIAL AND METHODS In the Department of Otolaryngology and Laryngological Oncology in Poznan in the years 2005-2008 was performed 7 resections of o...
متن کاملReconstruction of Oral Cavity Defects
Reconstruction of oral cavity defects must maximize residual function of remaining tissue. The reconstructive surgeon should have the ability to tailor the reconstruction according to the size of the defect and general medical status of the patient. The reconstructive ladder is a useful paradigm to conceptualize different types of reconstruction. Free tissue transfer has allowed reconstruction ...
متن کاملBuccal Fat Pad Flap in Reconstruction of Oral Cavity Defects: a Case Series of Five Patients
We present a case series of five patients who were operated for various oral lesions in Rehman Medical Institute over a period of six months. In these cases resulting defects were repaired by using pedicaled buccal fat pad flap. In this paper we discuss indication, complication and technique involved in raising this flap. All four flaps survived, however one flap had to be removed due to contin...

PURPOSE This article describes the successful use of pedicled nasolabial flaps in the reconstruction of various oral cavity defects with or without adjunctive microvascular free tissue transfer. PATIENTS AND METHODS Twenty-eight flaps were performed in 18 patients, for a variety of oral cavity defects. RESULTS All flaps healed without evidence of necrosis, infection, or dehiscence. Patient ...
